This 1900 version of the recliner was called a Morris chair, and the adustable back has five tilting positions. Carved of solid oak with lion paw feet, soft cushions are recently upholstered in a fabric design of the era. The restored finish is in excellent condition. Tight and strong, the frame is reglued to serve another generation. A reclining iron and rod mechanism is original. Cushion and back are removable for easier delivery.
